UK Land Policy Forum, 11 July 2018

The Forum will bring together colleagues from across the land sector for a discussion on different models of outgrower production, lessons learnt from practical experience and their implications for land policy.

This meeting is aimed at extending the participants’ understanding of:

  • How outgrower production models can affect land rights
  • The drivers of responsible private investment in agriculture
  • How land governance can be designed to support equitable outgrower production models

Speakers include Jim Henderson (AgDevCo), Scott Schang (Landesa), Kate Mathias (TwentyFifty/Illovo), Lorenzo Cotula (IIED), Anna Locke (ODI), Chris Penrose-Buckley (DFID) and more to be confirmed.
