Land is a foundational asset for livelihoods, identity, and stability—yet it is often overlooked in humanitarian and development programming. When land and tenure issues are insufficiently understood, even well-intentioned interventions in areas such as shelter, infrastructure, or displacement response can unintentionally fuel conflict, exclusion, or long-term grievances. This webinar explores what a do-no-harm approach means in practice when land is directly or indirectly implicated in programming, and how conflict-sensitive, rights-based approaches can help prevent disputes, evictions, and social harm across the humanitarian–development–peacebuilding nexus.
