Registration and Call for paper, World Bank conference on Land and Poverty

The 2017 World Bank Conference on Land and Poverty will be held from March 20 to 24, 2017 in Washington D.C. under the theme of Responsible Land Governance: Towards an Evidence-Based Approach. Registration for the conference has now opened. We encourage you to take advantage of the early bird registration rate of $250, which will expire on December 15, 2016.

More information on registration fee structure, as well as the registration guidelines, are available on the conference website. Once your fees are cleared, your visa letter will be available to download in your Conftool account. Please note that, even if you have submitted a paper in Conftool, you will still need to separately register for participation in the conference.

 

Reminder call for paper abstracts

Please note the deadline for individual paper abstract submission is Midnight October 31, 2016 (Eastern Standard Time). Please check the conference website for more information on conference themes, submission instructions and review process.

 

Call for lightning talk proposals for “Innovation Day”

The conference is partnering with the Open Geospatial Consortium to organize an « Innovation Day » on March 23 with in the morning a series of “lightning talks” presenting use cases, followed by hands-on demonstrations in the afternoon. If you are interested in submitting a proposal for a lightning talk, kindly consult the conference website for priority themes, submission guidelines and review process.

 

Call for MasterClass proposals  

The exchange and learning day (March 24) is an opportunity for presenting and discussing cutting edge tools, research approaches, and methodologies during focused 90-min sessions. If you are interested in submitting a proposal for such a « MasterClass », please follow the submission guidelines.
