This brief is a summary of findings from a comparative analysis of five case studies looking at the experience of multistakeholder platforms for land governance in Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Lao PDR, Guinea and Malawi. These cases were prepared by four international land governance programmes (CTFD, ILC, MRL, Land for Life) to review the political contexts, structure, governance and operational models of the multistakeholder platforms they have supported. It presents platform contributions to changes in policy and practice and provides key learnings that could be applied to land governance programming across multiple contexts.
