This Capitalisation of Experiences (Capex) represents a review of the Mekong Regional Land Governance (MRLG) project decade-long journey, focusing on key lessons from policy engagement, multistakeholder approaches and adaptation to changing political economies. The review adopts a learning-oriented approach to critically reflect on MRLG’s strategies, processes, concepts and impacts. The objective is to provide a better understanding of the approach’s originality, conditions of success and how these were achieved. The study provides valuable insights into adaptive development approaches in land governance and contributes to broader discussions on strategic learning, political engagement and systems-level change in multistakeholder initiatives.
